Tulong Dunong at Cebu Normal University: one-time aid guide

This guide is for students of Cebu Normal University who were told to apply for a one-time Tulong Dunong grant for academic year 2026–2027. It is not the regular nationwide CHED-UniFAST Tulong Dunong schedule. A reposted campus call set online submission on 7 October 2026. Treat that date as closed unless the university scholarship office says otherwise.

Last verified: 8 October 2026. The amount, campuses, and deadline below come from a campus notice repost, not from a CHED circular read on this date. Confirm with the Cebu Normal University Office of Scholarship Services before you file.

Who this call is for

The notice covers Filipino students officially enrolled at Cebu Normal University. Named campuses were Alegria, Argao, Balamban, Catmon, Main, and Medellin. A student in another city cannot use this call.

  • You may still apply if you previously applied for TES, as long as you are not receiving a TES grant now.
  • The same notice also says applicants should not already be receiving another private or government-funded scholarship or grant. If those two lines conflict on your papers, ask the scholarship office which rule it will use.
  • Filing does not reserve a slot. Approval still depends on review and available funds.

What the grant pays

The campus notice describes a one-time financial aid of ₱7,500. That is different from the usual CHED Tulong Dunong release, which is often ₱7,500 per regular semester. Do not expect a second semester payment from this particular call unless the university says so in writing.

Documents to prepare

  • Accomplished TDP application form, 2026 version, printed on A4 paper. The scholarship office can issue a copy.
  • 2×2 photo and a wet signature on the form.
  • Study load for the first semester of academic year 2026–2027, validated and signed by the registrar. A printout from the student portal was reported as not accepted.
  • Certificate of indigency whose stated purpose is “Tulong Dunong Program Application.”
  • All files merged into one PDF named with your full name, for the online upload.

Deadline

The reposted notice set online submission on 7 October 2026. As of 8 October 2026, that date has passed. An earlier campus social post for a one-time TDP used September dates and a slightly different document list, so the school has issued more than one call. Use only the schedule now posted by the Office of Scholarship Services.

How to apply

  1. Get the current TDP form from the Office of Scholarship Services, 3rd floor, TAC Building, Osmeña Boulevard, Cebu City, or from the staff assigned to your external campus.
  2. Print it on A4 paper, attach the photo, and sign it.
  3. If the office still has the upload open, send one merged PDF through the form it names. Do not use an old Google Form from a blog if the office has replaced it.
  4. Submit the hard copies during your scheduled face-to-face class. Main Campus students submit at the scholarship office. External campuses were told not to travel to Main if designated staff are collecting copies on site.
  5. Expect a short interview when you hand in the hard copies.

If the upload is closed

Texting a number from a repost does not file the application. Ask the scholarship office whether a late file will be received. The number given on the reposted notice was 0966-133-3814. Treat it as a campus contact to verify, not as an approval line.

Common problems

  • The student is enrolled in another school. This call does not cover that campus.
  • The study load is an unvalidated portal printout.
  • The indigency certificate does not state the purpose required on the form.
  • The student is already receiving TES or another government grant.
  • The online file and the hard copy do not match, or the PDF is split into several files.
