A district office announced 150 remaining slots for the CHED-UniFAST Tulong Dunong Program for qualified students linked to Quezon City District 3. The call is first come, first served, and the form is set to close when those 150 slots are filled. This is not a nationwide CHED opening, and it is separate from the one-time Cebu Normal University call.
Last verified: 8 October 2026, from a public announcement by the office of Cong. Franz Pumaren. The post said a QR code for the form would be released Thursday at 8:00 PM. In Philippine time, that points to the evening of 8 October 2026. Use the QR on that official post. A copied or shortened link may be incomplete.
Who this call is for
- Students the district office treats as qualified for its Tulong Dunong allocation. The hashtags point to Quezon City District 3, not the whole country.
- Students enrolled in the first semester of school year 2026–2027.
- Students whose school has a memorandum of agreement with CHED-UniFAST. A school outside that list can be rejected even if the PDF is complete.
- People who already submitted under this call were told not to submit again.
What the slot is
The announcement does not state the peso amount. Under the regular CHED-UniFAST Tulong Dunong Program, the commonly published grant is ₱7,500 per regular semester, subject to the current guidelines and available funds. Do not treat the 150 slots as a guaranteed release until UniFAST or the school confirms the award.
Documents to prepare
Prepare one PDF. The announcement asked for these scanned files, merged together:
- TDP application form with a 2×2 photo
- Original or certified true copy of the certificate of registration or enrollment, with the registrar’s stamp or signature, for the first semester of school year 2026–2027 only
- Barangay certificate of indigency
The announcement pointed to a sample-requirements folder and a downloadable TDP form on Google Drive. Those links were shortened in the public text, so open them from the district post itself rather than from a repost.
How to apply
- Check that your school is on a CHED-UniFAST list. The announcement pointed readers to the CHED higher-education institution list and a shared school list. Confirm the campus name, not just the university system.
- Download the TDP form from the district post, attach the 2×2 photo, and scan it.
- Scan the signed registration certificate and the barangay indigency.
- Merge the files into one PDF.
- Wait for the QR code the office said it would post Thursday at 8:00 PM, then submit through that form. Do not send the PDF only as a social media comment.
- Stop if the form says the 150 slots are full. A late upload is not a waiting list unless the office says so.
If you already submitted
The announcement said applicants who already submitted do not need to file again. A second PDF can be treated as a duplicate.
Common problems
- The registration certificate is for another semester, or it has no registrar stamp or signature.
- The files are uploaded separately instead of one PDF.
- The school has no CHED-UniFAST memorandum for this program.
- The student is outside the district allocation but uses a reposted QR.
- The form has already closed at 150 submissions.
