Sino ang puwedeng mag-apply?

• At least 18 years old
• High school graduate o equivalent
• Unemployed sa kasalukuyan
• Hindi naka-enroll sa K–12 o college
• Hindi naka-enroll sa ibang TESDA scholarship nang sabay (gaya ng TWSP, PESFA, STEP o UAQTEA)

Mga requirements

• Driver credentials: Student Driver’s Permit, Driver’s License, o Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) Certificate
• Educational records: Form 137 o Form 138 (para sa HS/SHS graduates), ALS Certificate, o Transcript of Records (para sa college graduates)
• Civil status records: PSA o local Birth Certificate; Marriage Certificate para sa married female applicants
• Photos: 3 to 4 passport-size at 3 to 4 na 1×1 colored pictures (white background, may collar at name tag)

Paano mag-apply

1. Tawagan o i-message ang MDTAC sa 0992 765 3811 para i-confirm kung may slot pa, ang schedule, at ang requirements.
2. Ihanda ang lahat ng documents sa long brown envelope.
3. Pumunta sa MDTAC sa office hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) at hanapin si Ms. Jana o Phil.
4. Hintayin ang confirmation kung natanggap ka sa scholarship.

Ano ang Driving NC II?

Ayon sa TESDA Training Regulations, ang Driving NC II ay para sa pag-operate ng light motor vehicles sa ilalim ng LTO restriction codes 1 at 2, pagbiyahe ng pasahero at kargamento sa local routes, pagsunod sa traffic rules, at pag-ayos ng minor vehicle issues. Ang nominal training duration ay 118 hours (18 hours basic, 20 hours common, at 80 hours core competencies).

Core competencies:

• Carry Out Minor Vehicle Maintenance and Servicing
• Drive Light Vehicle
• Obey and Observe Traffic Rules and Regulations
• Implement and Coordinate Accident-Emergency Procedures

Kasama rin ang basic competencies gaya ng workplace communication, teamwork at occupational health and safety, at common competencies gaya ng pag-move at position ng vehicle at paggamit ng lubricants at coolants.

Assessment at National Certificate

Pagkatapos ng training, kukuha ka ng competency assessment. Kapag pumasa ka sa lahat ng units, bibigyan ka ng National Certificate (NC II) na pirmado ng TESDA Director General. Sa scholarship na ito, libre ang assessment.

Paano ito makakatulong sa trabaho?

• Local jobs: company driver, delivery driver, service vehicle driver, at iba pang driving jobs.
• Professional driver’s license: ang NC II ay patunay ng skills mo, pero hiwalay na proseso sa LTO ang pagkuha ng professional license. Sundin ang current LTO requirements.
• Abroad: may mga employer abroad na humihingi ng TESDA NC II para sa drivers, pero iba-iba ang requirements kada bansa at employer. Mag-apply lang sa DMW-licensed agencies.
