What the course covers

Eight lessons take you from placing the units to testing the finished setup:
- Outdoor unit installation
- Indoor unit installation
- Piping installation
- Electrical installation
- Evacuation process
- Charging refrigerants
- Leak test
- PACU testing
Unit 2: Troubleshooting and maintenance
Two lessons on finding problems and keeping the unit in good shape:
- PACU troubleshooting
- PACU maintenance
Why take it online
- Free. No tuition for the learning materials.
- Self-paced. Study whenever you have time.
- Any device. Works on a smartphone, laptop or desktop with internet.
- Certificate. You get a Certificate of Completion once you finish the course requirements.
Aircon work involves electricity and refrigerants, so the online lessons are best treated as theory. Get supervised hands-on practice before doing actual servicing jobs.

Certificate of Completion vs. NC II
Finishing the online course gives you a Certificate of Completion, not a National Certificate. To get RAC Servicing (DOMRAC) NC II, you need to pass a separate competency assessment at a TESDA-accredited assessment center. Because this course covers only part of the qualification, ask TESDA or an accredited center what else you need to prepare for the full assessment.
Common problems
- No confirmation email. Check Spam, Junk and Promotions, and confirm you typed your email correctly.
- Cannot find the course. Look under the DOMRAC category, or search for “Packaged Air Conditioner”.
- Expecting an NC II after finishing. The online course gives a Certificate of Completion only. The NC II needs an in-person assessment.
- Lessons feel too technical. Take notes, rewatch lessons, and pair the course with hands-on training at a TESDA center.
