Malacañang PACe medical and burial assistance: how to submit your documents

If you or a family member needs help with hospital bills, medicines, or funeral costs, you can ask the Presidential Action Center (PACe) of the Office of the President for medical or burial assistance through its Presidential Help Desk. You can hand in your documents at the PACe office in Malacañang, at the PACe desk in the eGovPH Serbisyo Hub in San Juan City, or send them by official courier if you live in the provinces and cannot travel to Manila. PACe does not accept documents by email, and it only accepts originals or certified true copies. There is no fixed deadline, but help depends on review and available funds, so submit while the patient is still under treatment or as soon as burial costs come up.

Last verified: October 11, 2026, against the PACe online portal and an official reply from the Presidential Action Center.

Who this is for

  • Patients and families who need financial help for medical treatment, medicines, or hospital bills.
  • Families who need help with burial or funeral expenses.
  • People in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao who cannot easily go to Malacañang or San Juan City in person.

What the assistance covers

PACe lists these types of assistance in its guide to the Malacañang appointment scheduler:

  • Burial or funeral assistance
  • Chemotherapy and specialty medicines
  • Hospital bills
  • Maintenance medication
  • Medical implants and assistive devices
  • Medical laboratory fees and procedures

PACe does not publish a fixed amount for each type. Every request is reviewed on its own, and the help you get depends on that review and on available funds.

How to apply

You can submit your documents in one of three ways. Whichever you choose, send originals or certified true copies only. PACe will not accept documents sent by email.

Option 1: PACe main office in Malacañang

  • Online portal: pace.op.gov.ph
  • Address: PACe Building, J.P. Laurel St., Malacañang Complex, San Miguel, Manila
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM

Option 2: PACe at the eGovPH Serbisyo Hub in San Juan City

  • Appointment: book only through the eGovPH Super App (Google Play or Apple App Store).
  • Address: Bagong Pilipinas eGovPH Serbisyo Hub, Makabagong San Juan National Government Center, Pinaglabanan St., San Juan City
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Option 3: Send by official courier

If you cannot go in person, send your complete documents through an official courier such as LBC, J&T Express, or PHLPost. On-demand delivery services like Lalamove or Grab are not allowed.

  1. Check the official PACe checklist of requirements for your type of assistance.
  2. Prepare your request letter and every document on the checklist, as originals or certified true copies. Keep photocopies or phone photos for yourself.
  3. Put everything in one envelope or pouch and send it to the address below.
  4. Keep the courier receipt and tracking number.
  5. Follow up on your request through the PACe verification form (see below).

Where to send your documents:

Attention: PRESIDENTIAL HELP DESK
Presidential Action Center (PACe)
PACe Building, J.P. Laurel St., Malacañang Complex
San Miguel, Manila

Documents sent by courier still go through full review and verification. Sending them does not mean your request is automatically approved or processed right away.

How to follow up

To check the status of your request, use the PACe status verification form (a Google Form; it may ask you to sign in to a Google account). If the link stops working, get the current one from the official Presidential Action Center Facebook page.

Documents to prepare

Requirements differ by type of assistance, so use the official Office of the President Medical Financial Assistance checklist of requirements posted by PACe. PACe also sends the list of required documents when it replies to a request.

  • Your signed request letter asking for medical or burial assistance.
  • All the documents on the PACe checklist for your type of assistance.
  • Originals or certified true copies only. Plain photocopies, scans, and emailed files are not accepted.
  • Your contact number and address written clearly, so PACe can reach you.

Deadline

PACe has not announced a closing date for medical or burial assistance requests. Because approval depends on review and available funds, submit your complete documents as early as you can instead of waiting until a bill is due.

Common problems and how to avoid them

  • Emailing documents. PACe does not accept documents by email. Submit them in person or by official courier.
  • Sending plain photocopies. Only originals or certified true copies are accepted.
  • Incomplete documents. Missing papers can delay your request, and incomplete documents may be returned to you.
  • Using on-demand delivery. Lalamove, Grab, and similar services are not allowed. Use LBC, J&T Express, PHLPost, or a similar official courier.
  • Paying someone to “help.” Submitting and processing a request at PACe is free. There is no processing fee, and nobody should ask you for snack or photocopy money.
  • Fixers. PACe has no authorized agent or group that collects documents for a fee. Be careful with anyone who says they know someone inside.
  • Expecting automatic approval. Complete documents do not mean approval. Each request goes through validation, evaluation, and approval, depending on available funds.
